Financial Controller

Bengaluru, India

We are looking for Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.


Job Description
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with GAAP
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts reporting pack for presentation and approval by senior management team and Board of Directors. To include:
    • Profit & Loss
    • Balance sheet
    • Cashflow
    • Trends and analysis
    • Outstanding Receivables
    • Analysis of aircraft sold/purchased during period under review
  • Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts as necessary. Prepare variance analysis in association with operations, technical and sales
  • Management of day to day cashflow requirements including:
    • Setting up and maintenance of multiple bank accounts
    • Ensuring sufficient cashflow to meet Company requirements
    • Preparation of investor cash requests as necessary
  • Assist in preparing KPI’s in conjunction other functions
  • Liaise with external advisors including Auditors, Tax Advisors, Legal Advisors
  • Liaise with service providers to support VAT returns, Payroll returns (monthly & annual), Corporation Tax and submission in accordance with International Tax rules
  • Preparation of year end schedules to support yearend audit
  • Assist in preparation of Companies Office Returns as required under International law
  • Appointment as necessary to the Board of individual SPV’s as necessary. Assist in setting up SPV’s in multiple jurisdictions as necessary
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required by the management team from time to time.
  • Represent the Company at industry events and travel as required
  • Any other Finance and accounting relating requirements as the management would need from time to time


Basic Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • Advanced degree in Accounting
  • CA or equivalent are preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • No travel restrictions-Ireland & China in particular.
